Please note: our Grapevine/Southlake Tea Party meeting scheduled for Tuesday, October 13, is being rescheduled. This is the same night as Grapevine's National Night Out, our annual neighborhood block parties held in each neighborhood in Grapevine. It's part of the Neighborhood Watch program, and in many neighborhoods it's a pretty big deal. In my neighborhood, for example, dinner is catered by the Gaylord Texan Hotel and we have a party at the Vineyards Campgrounds.

This is not only a big event for many Grapevine residents, but it's also an EXCELLENT opportunity to interact with neighbors and invite them to join the Grapevine/Southlake Tea Party. Because of these reasons, we feel it makes sense to reschedule our meeting. I hope all Grapevine tea party members will make a point of participating in the National Night Out to help spread the word about our group.

Our meeting is now going to be held on Tuesday, October 20. Same time, same place. I hope this doesn't

Moveon.org has planned a rally outside John Cornyn's office tomorrow to support Obamacare. A counter-rally has been planned to show support for Cornyn's stance AGAINST Obamacare. If you can make it, please show up around 11am at 5001 Spring Valley in Dallas. If you've never been to a rally, they are lots of fun and you meet some great people! Plus it's invigorating to take that step and make a statement.

Thanks,

Julie McCarty

As a result of the video exposing ACORN offering to facilitate tax fraud, prostitution and even human trafficking, Congress is now voting to withdraw federal taxpayer funding from this corrupt organization, and the IRS and Census Bureau have cut ties. ACORN has now filed a lawsuit against this 20-year-old college student for $5 million.
